New Heinz Barbecue Sauces

I was in Western Beef yesterday (which I don't like anymore because it's not cheap anymore) and I saw Heinz BBQ sauces. Those are new. Heinz used to (still does?) make Jack Daniels sauce. Heinz merged with Kraft, which has cheap sauces. This article explains how they'll be different. (In short, Heinz ones are fancier.) I don't eat a lot of barbecue sauce and I have too many condiments in my refrigerator already, but I'd like to try the vinegary Carolina style one.

Cheapest avocados in American history?

Key Food has avocados on sale for $0.65 each, which is the cheapest I've ever seen. I wonder if that's the cheapest they've ever been. A long time ago, when you could get a can of tuna for a dime, I doubt avocados were cheap. They were probably more of a luxury good. Now we have NAFTA.

The flyers were liars!

Key Food said it would have 16 oz Polly-O mozzarella on sale for $1.99, but there was no sign. I ended up only getting peanut butter, 2 for $4 (must by 2 :( ). Then Associated didn't have a sign on the Spike salsa, which was supposed to be $1.69.

I hope Bravo actually has tuna on sale tomorrow. $0.69/can.

I got lots of good deals at Bravo.

Frozen broccoli for $1/lb. Pinto beans for $1.19. Cabbage for $0.33/lb. Muenster for, well, I forget but it was cheap. I went when I was hungry and bought everything. Then Eric went later and bought 40 pizza rolls for $3 and we ate them with ranch dressing and got fat. I'm going to go back for a dozen jumbo eggs for $2. I don't buy fancy eggs anymore because I'm out of money.

Bravo Mint

I've been shopping at Bravo a bit more lately, mostly to buy potatoes. This mint price is absurd. Cilantro was only $0.79. I guess they want you to eat that.
